PLC Migration & Industrial Automation Retrofit
A controlled route from obsolete PLC, HMI, SCADA and drive systems to a maintainable automation architecture with planned shutdown and commissioning.
Why Plants Modernize
- Obsolete PLC or unsupported VFD
- Unavailable spare modules
- Unreliable HMI or SCADA
- Undocumented or inaccessible logic
- Aging communication systems
- Production downtime and maintainability risk
Existing-System Audit
Hardware, software, I/O, networks, field interfaces, operating sequences and available backups are recorded before a replacement is proposed.
I/O & Program Review
The existing I/O list and logic are reconciled with actual field operation. Unclear sequences and legacy workarounds are identified for customer review.
Replacement Architecture
The target controller, remote I/O, HMI/SCADA, drives and communication design are selected around lifecycle, maintainability and shutdown constraints.
Redevelopment & Migration
- PLC redevelopment or controlled code migration
- HMI and SCADA modernization
- Drive replacement and communication mapping
- Alarm, trend and report reconstruction
- Drawing and document updates
FAT
The migrated control sequences, I/O mapping, operator screens, alarms and communications are tested against an agreed plan before site shutdown.
Controlled Shutdown
Site preparation, backups, labelling, installation and cutover activities are sequenced to make the shutdown scope explicit.
Commissioning & Stabilization
Field checks, dry trials, process trials and observation during production restart are used to close migration issues systematically.
